Scholarship Application


Age 16 -25 enrolling, enrolled or in school. The number of recipients will be based on the amount of money raised each year and will be distributed by the following guidelines.

One parent has to have been:

Priority: Killed in active duty on foreign soil
Killed in active duty by friendly fire
Accidently killed while serving
Died while in the service
Maimed or disable while in the service

Qualifications: Students Academic record
Students Attendance record
Personal letters from teachers
Family’s need
A students zest for learning

Distribution: Through an application process
Twice a year in July and December
Amount is based on the donations received by the Foundation
A minimum $1,000.00 maximum of $5,000.00 per student


Applicants must be residents of the United States who will graduate from a US High School this school year – public, private or parochial – during the award year.

Applicants also must:

  • Plan to attend one of their states fully- accredited Colleges/Universities.
  • Meet all admission requirements of the college or university.
  • Plan to pursue a degree in one of the following areas: Liberal Arts, Education, Economics, Finance, Engineering, and Science.
  • Have a cumulative grade point average of 2.8 or better and SAT scores of 1450 or an ACT composite score of 20. (Consideration is given to students with lower grade point averages, when the potential to succeed and the determination to achieve are evident.)
  • Demonstrate financial need. Proof of annual family income is required or government assistance documents or foster care/emancipation. A prior year W-2 tax form filed with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) is required to accompany this application, if you are not currently placed in foster care, and must be signed by parent or guardian. The application is not accepted without this information. If residing in state placement your application must be signed by your foster parent and proof of placement must be provided. 
  • Complete a scholarship application and supply the required attachments.
  • Proof of residence is required.

The Scholarship Award

No Angel Left Behind awards scholarships of up to $5,000 annually for a maximum of $20,000 over 4 years to eligible graduating high school seniors. Funds must be used to pay for expenses related to attending college including tuition, fees, room and board and books.

Notification of Finalists

Scholarship finalists will be notified no later than September 15th of each year and must participate in an interview process.

Renewal of Awards

Scholarship awards of up to $5,000 per year are renewable for a maximum of $20,000 over 4 years. Recipients must continue to 1) maintain satisfactory academic performance 2) maintain a high level of community commitment and involvement.
